Indian Premier League Prediction: Who will lift the cup?

With the Indian Premier League (IPL) kicking off today, it will be interesting to see who will be declared the winners of the tournament. The IPL is being held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi this year due to the coronavirus, causing it impossible to host it in India. Here are our predictions for the IPL.

Who will win the Indian Premier League?

Michael Vaughan spoke to William Hill about his predictions for the tournament. He listed a few teams that have a chance to win the trophy — Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad. He named these teams as real contenders to take home the coveted trophy, however, there is only one team which he selects as his favourite — Kolkata Knight Riders.

This action-packed team has everything that it takes to win the tournament. With Eoin Morgan, Shubman Gill, Dinesh Karthik and the ever-powerful Andre Russell at the end, their batting power looks strong enough to withstand any team’s bowling force. However, KKR’s real power comes from their bowling side with Sunil Narine, Pat Cummins, Kuldeep Yadav and again the West Indian Andre Russell.
