Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh has asserted that the current Indian team depends on captain Virat Kohli and opener Rohit Sharma, and rest of the players lack Self-Belief on Thursday.

Bhajji further mumbled that other players have a lack of self-reliance as when the top-order falls the team loses the majority of matches.

In an Instagram Live Harbhajan Singh told to Rohit Sharma that, “The current Indian side is dependent on Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. The side does not have much confidence, there are good players but once Virat and Rohit get out, 70 per cent of matches we tend to lose. There is a lack of self-belief.”

The 39-year-old spinner further explained about his experience during his games in the team. Remembering the World Cup 2019, Singh said that The Indian team needs to develop more match-winners to grab the trophy. Earlier, during The Tournament, India lost the semi-final to New Zealand and failed to lift the trophy.

“In our times, we had a lot of trust and belief. If the top three of the current Indian side are dismissed, then we have problems in winning matches, you need to find more watch winners. You had a good World Cup, but then you lose in the semi-finals, if you had 3-4 guys performing, we would have won the World Cup,” Harbhajan said.

Presently, all sporting events globally are either postponed or cancelled due to coronavirus pandemic. The Indian Premier League was declared to start from March 29 but it is also postponed indefinitely.
