Sumit Nagal, World No 127 Indian tennis player received a direct entry for the 2020 US Open. He was the last man to receive direct entry into the field of 128.

Nagal earned a dream Grand Slam debut for himself after defeating Brazil’s Joao Menezes in the final qualifying round, in year 2019.
He has once even defeated the legendary Roger Federer as the Indian set up the US Open first-round clash against him and won the first set but lost the tie 4-6, 6-1, 6-2, 6-4.
