Warner set to surpass Kumar Sangakkara

Today will be Warner’s 48th appearance as an IPL captain. With this, he will surpass Sangakkara’s overall tally of 47 and will behind his two country-men — Adam Gilchrist and Shane Warne. Gilchrist (71) has the most numbers of appearances whereas the Aussie legend, Shane Warne, is on the second position with 55 appearances as a captain.
