In the 2nd over of RR chase of 185, Buttler tried to smack Ashwin. Dhawan, who was fielding at square leg, timed his effort to perfection as he grabbed an excellent catch whilst moving to his right.

Ravichandran Ashwin faced a lot of backlash for mankading Jos Buttler at the non-striker’s end last year, even though it was completely within the rule book.

Given how Ashwin had mankaded Rajasthan Royals wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler in IPL 2019, the pair facing each other has always intrigued fans. This battle again created a buzz on Twitter and fans were quick to send out hilarious tweets.
