Apparently, there was one mistake that de Kock made in his flawless innings he played against KKR. Quinton de Kock wore his practice pants while batting in the second innings of the game. De Kock kept his jersey down while batting to hide the orange color from his shorts.

Mumbai Indians on Twitter shared a video in which head coach Mahela Jayawardene is seen congratulating the team for the emphatic performance. Speaking about the ordeal he suggested de Kock not to repeat the incident as the Marketing team went crazy when the incident occurred.

Jayawardene said, “Apart from Quinny who was batting in his practice pants, everything else was pretty decent.”
