Almost all the players have arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) ahead of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The players are under the quarantine period, following the standard operating procedure for this year’s IPL. As a result, the players don’t have access to the gyms and fitness centers for a few days.
This could not stop the players from working out as they have already started sweating it out from their hotel rooms only. The social media handles of most of the players and teams are very active at the moment, sharing a lot of activities taking place at the team hotels.
Some posts of players exercising have also been shared on social media. Virat Kohli is amongst the earliest players who started working out soon after landing at the Emirates. The fans got to know about this when Kohli shared an Instagram story of him and the official handles of RCB reshared that photograph.
Social media handles of teams like Rajasthan Royals, Kings XI Punjab, Mumbai Indians, and Chennai Super Kings have also shared such pictures and videos.
Here’s all the action from UAE
CSK shared a video of Ravindra Jadeja doing an advanced-level workout with a pair of dumbbells. The video had a Malayalam song in the background, and the caption read, “You know you’re in Dubai when you work out to Mallu songs! ? @ravindra.jadeja #WhistlePodu”. Earlier, they also shared a post-workout image of Suresh Raina.
Moving to the west, Mumbai Indians too shared a workout video of Krunal Pandya on their social media accounts. The senior Pandya was seen doing some intense cardio and weight training in the video.
The social media of Rajasthan Royals is the buzziest when it comes to sharing workout posts. They have shared multiple photographs and videos on social media, featuring players like Mayank Markande, Rahul Tewatia, Robin Uthappa, Sanju Samson, Varun Aaron, and a lot more.
Kings XI Punjab too shared a video of Mayank Agarawal sweating hard while exercising. The post said, ”We’d like to put in a petition to change #MondayMotivation to #MayankMotivation”.
