Tata Motors has announced on Monday that its premium hatchback Altroz will be the ‘Official Partner’ for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The IPL 2020 will take place between September 19 and November 10 across three venues: Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). As the official partner, Tata Motors will showcase the Altroz at all the stadiums in the UAE, throughout the tournament.
The IPL matches will play host to the exciting Altroz Super Striker Awards. In this, the player with the best strike rate during the game will take away the Altroz Super Striker Trophy along with a prize of INR 100,000. Moreover, the batsman with the highest strike-rate at the end of the tournament drives home a brand new Altroz.
Association for the third consecutive year
Tata Motors continues their association with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for the third consecutive year. The Altroz follows the path of its stablemates, the Nexon (2018) and the Harrier (2019), both of which have been the official partners of this cash-rich league.
Vivek Srivatsa, Head of Marketing Passenger Vehicle Business Unit (PVBU), Tata Motors also commented on this association. He said, “The festive season has kicked in well for us, and IPL is nothing short of a festival for the cricket fans across the country. We are elated to be back for the third consecutive year with IPL and this time with a car that has set Gold Standards in every sphere.”
IPL Chairman Brijesh Patel also spoke: “It is great to have Tata Motors continue their partnership for Dream11 IPL 2020 with their hatchback – Tata Altroz. Tata Motors has been the official partners since 2018, and our relationship with them continues to grow.”
