IPL 2020: Virat Kohli Enjoys ‘Proper training’ Session in Dubai

IPL teams have started practice sessions ahead of the start of the new season of the Indian Premier League(IPL). All IPL teams had quarantined themselves for 6 days after reaching UAE. After which they underwent COVID19 tests and are now coming back to training.

Team Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) trained in Dubai here on Thursday. RCB skipper Virat Kohli was seen enjoying the training session with his teammates.

He relished the ‘proper session’, humidity and was seen recovering after training. The RCB team was also seen playing football in between the session.

Kohli took to Twitter and wrote, “Proper session + proper humidity + great recovery @RCBTweets”

‘Not here to have fun’- Kohli

Earlier Kohli gave an interview to RCB and said that the team is here to play Cricket and not have ‘fun’. He felt a little nervous at the start of the training but then afterward things were okay.

The 31yearold said that the biosecure bubble needs to be maintained. He emphasized the need to follow all guidelines prescribed by the BCCI in order to complete the tournament successfully.

Virat Kohli is associated with the Royal Challengers since 2008. But Kohli and RCB are still to achieve glory in the IPL.

RCB has played 3 times in the finals of the tournament but has lost all 3. They lost against Deccan Chargers in 2009, Chennai Superkings in 2011, and Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016.

Virat Kohli led RCB will be challenging for the IPL trophy this season.
