IPL 2021: Kings XI Punjab likely to change name and logo before the auction – Reports
According to reports from Sportskeeda, the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) franchise are set to change their name and logo ahead of next year’s Indian Premier League (IPL). The announcement is reportedly set to be made on the 17th of February which is one day before the mini-auction for the upcoming season will take place in Chennai.
KXIP had a topsy-turvy season in the IPL last year as they came roaring back into contention for a playoff spot after a horrendous start. They were rejuvenated by the return of Chris Gayle who was injured and missed out on the first few games. The side remained alive and kicking till their very last league match where they were eliminated due to a loss suffered against Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
