IPL 2021: ‘Looking forward to win another Trophy with purple and gold,’ says Harbhajan Singh after being traded by KKR

Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh was traded to Kolkata knight Riders (KKR) for a base price of 2 crores towards the business end of the 2021 VIVO IPL auction. He went unsold at the start of the auctions but gained interest later on.

After being purchased by KKR, Harbhajan Singh poured his heart out on Twitter and took a moment to thanks KKR.

Referring to KKR’s Twitter update on Bhajji’s inclusion in their squad, the latter wrote, “Looking forward to win another (title) with purple and gold.. thank you for having me.. all you will get from me is 100 percent commitment at all time.. see you all soon”

Bhajji had been playing IPL ever since its genesis in 2008. He played for nine years for Mumbai Indians post which he was taken by Chennai Super Kings ahead of IPL 2018. He featured in the yellow brigade for two seasons and he withdrew from the latest IPL 2020 season, citing personal reasons.

IPL 2020 was held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in secured bio-bubble owing to the raging coronavirus cases in India.
