Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals have not consistent this season at all and find themselves with just two wins in six games. Due to injuries, withdrawals and the like, the side have been seriously short of options to choose from, but even with the available ones, they haven’t able to deliver on a regular basis.

In their previous match against defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI), RR could not capitalize on an excellent start with the bat as they ended up scoring just 171 runs. The target was then easily chased down by their opponents as the bowling looked lacklustre.

Today’s match against SRH provides an excellent opportunity to set things right and raise hopes of making it to the playoffs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Sunrisers Hyderabad have been the least impressive side this season. They have been plagued by a plethora of issues with the unstable middle order being chief among them. Their captain David Warner‘s indifferent form has not helped either. They find themselves bottom of the table with just 1 win in 6 matches.

In their previous match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), SRH managed just 171 on the board despite losing only 3 wickets. It was Warner’s slow innings which was the chief cause for the same. The Men in Yellow then chased down the target without breaking too much of a sweat.

With the other teams climbing, SRH desperately need a win today.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are in desperate need for a win today and today might be the day their batting steps up to the plate. Rajasthan Royals have not looked too threatening with the bat and might come under the pump against the Orange Army’s bowling. The top order hold the key for SRH and if they fire, it would hold the side in good stead in the encounter.
