On the cricketing front, RCB are in a good place, having won five matches out of their first seven. The side went on a four-match winning streak before they were defeated by Chennai Super Kings (CSK). They then bounced back with a win before suffering a loss in their previous match against Punjab Kings (PBKS). They are now sitting on the third spot, level on points with CSK and Delhi Capitals (DC).

Skipper Virat Kohli speaking in a video posted on Twitter further revealed that RCB would be auctioning off players’ jerseys. “RCB will also auction all the signed player jerseys from this game to raise money and add to our earlier financial contribution supporting healthcare infrastructure related to oxygen support. We also urge you stay home and get vaccinated at the earliest opportunity,” said Kohli.
