Chennai Super Kings (CSK) got a thumping win yesterday against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) as they rode on a stupendous all-round performance from Ravindra Jadeja who was excellent in all three departments of the game. The southpaw first hit 62 runs in just 28 balls, including a whopping 37 runs off the last over bowled by Harshal Patel, to boost CSK to a score of 191.

In the chase, Jadeja was the hero again as he picked up three wickets including the two key ones of Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers who were both out bowled, deceived by the turn and quickness of his deliveries. Further, Jadeja also got a direct-hit run-out to dismiss Dan Christian to finish with one of the greatest all-round performances in the history of T20 cricket to propel CSK to the top of the table.

During the RCB innings, Dhoni was actively chirping out instructions to his bowlers. When the likes of Dan Christian, Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers were on strike, the CSK skipper was at his active self, giving advice to Jadeja in Hindi, since the overseas players would not understand the language. However, when all three were dismissed courtesy of Jadeja himself, Harshal Patel walked to the crease.

Since Patel is an Indian, he would understand the language of Hindi and hence, Dhoni let Jadeja know of the same by saying, “Ab Hindi Me Nahi Bol Sakta Hun” (can’t speak in Hindi anymore). Jadeja was in stitches on hearing the hilarious piece of advice and so were the commentators while Dhoni had a wry smile on his face.
