Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are on a roll at the moment. Having won each of their first four matches, the Virat Kohli-led side is sitting at the top of the table. The side seems to have covered all bases this time around and the problems which plagued them last season like death bowling and a reliable batter other than Kohli and AB de Villiers have been solved and to perfection at that.

The addition of Glenn Maxwell has been a masterstroke as the Aussie all-rounder has been a terrific option at No. 4. He has contributed in each of the three matches where he has batted. Further, the side’s morale and confidence seem to be extremely high already as is evident from videos posted by RCB’s official social media handles which show the mood in the camp to be upbeat as ever.

During RCB’s win in their previous match against Rajasthan Royals, Glenn Maxwell took an excellent diving catch to remove Shivam Dube. Leggie Yuzvendra Chahal took two catches as well, but the ‘Vivo Perfect Catch of the Match’ award went to the Australia for his effort. Back in the dressing room after the presentation, Chahal decided to pull Maxwell’s leg by trolling him about the catch.

In a video posted by RCB, Chahal can be seen accusing Maxwell of ‘making a simple catch look hard’ and ensuring that he gets the phone. The likes of Shahbaz Ahmed and AB de Villiers also joined in and took Chahal’s side. Maxwell however, trolled him back by saying, “The fact that you took one catch is a miracle enough. But two in a game – the batters are silly enough to hit it to you twice.”

RCB’s next match is against second-placed Chennai Super Kings tomorrow.
