Israel Adesanya takes to Twitter after the Whittaker victory over Darren Till; Says ‘I still wanna fight Till’

After surviving a tough round in the hands of Darren Till, former UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker was finally able to make a strong comeback after a long break at UFC Fight Night 174. The fight was majorly in favour of the Australian except the 1st round. On the other hand, the undisputed 185-king Israel Adesanya shared his views on the Twitter regarding this highly anticipated Middleweight fight.

Though the end came through an unanimous decision, Whittaker was still able to make a 10 win out 11 fights.  Darren Till also fought well but Whittaker did great and made a tough comeback. With this fight, the curtain was also pulled over on Fight Island.


Israel Adesanya chimes in

The undisputed 185-pound champion has been closely monitoring the aforementioned match-up because of its divisional implications. ‘The Last Stylebender’ took to social media, expressing his views over the electrifying contest inside the Flash Forum. He stated that he still wanted to fight Darren Till and asked Darren for a callout. “I still wanna fight Till one day. His striking is beautiful. Stay up Darren!”, he wrote.

The New Zealand fighter has a fight set up with with the dangerous Paula Costa. Israel rose to fame after he took down Robert Whittaker at UFC 243. Since then, he is gaining stardom. Besides, he also got a place on the UFC 4 video game along with Jorge Masvidal.

Almost everyone is looking to make to UFC gold in the Middleweight division. However, Robert Whittaker will be looking to separate himself from the crowd and make his own way for the UFC gold.
