Golden state Warriors have really been going after their start of winnings against the LA Lakers. The victory really gave them some good momentum in the league until they faced the New York Knicks today. They lost 119-104 in an embarrassing fashion. The Warriors’ forward, Draymond Green was also ejected unfairly as the referees estimated wrong violation.
Post match, Draymond Green spoke about how the officiating wasn’t pleasing. He expressed his concern over wrong calls and said, “I’m just a bit confused. Officials can meet and make a decision on any call throughout the game, but when it comes to a technical that was clearly the wrong call due to an official assuming I was talking to him, when in fact I wasn’t, that can’t be overturned? Maybe it’s time to take a look at that rule. I would love clarity on why that’s the rule if, in fact, it is a rule.”
Warriors lose over the ejection of Draymond Green
Stephen Curry and Draymond Green were really in rhythm after scoring hurl against the Knicks. They were seen coming to good chemistry as the game progressed. Green was already signalled a technical foul in the second quarter. In a turnover situation, Draymond was seen screaming at fellow team mate Wiseman. The referees mistook it to be screamed at them and he was served another technical. It resulted in his ejection.
Former defensive player of the year really controlled the ball movement as Warriors were trying to cope the lead the Knicks already took. Draymond who already has a reputation of getting technical fouls, could not curse his fortune more. It is really a major reason, Warriors lost.
