The Golden State Warriors had some real golden phase in the last decade. They had a fierce roster back then. With Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Kevin Durant, Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston and a lot of veteran players the team was on cloud 9. They made it continuously to finals and also had 3 titles in 4 seasons. With the finest rosters on the court and on the bench Dubs have been a power house. Andre Iguodala has been a part and partial for the team for so many seasons. He has played a major role helping the franchise win championships.

The 37-YO veteran has now signed with the Miami Heat. The Golden State Warriors are yet to face the previous season finalists in their next encounter. Golden State Warriors have been on a dream run. It is once again Stephen Curry who has made deep impact. After his statement about the need to improve, GSW have developed their display of performance. Now they stand 8th in the Western Conference. On the other-hand the Miami Heat haven’t had a great season so far. They seem off this season. With a record of 11-16, they are on 10th in the East.

Now that they have parted, facing each other as opponents for the first time would be a tough test. Stephen Curry reacted to his expectations in their match-up. According to him, “It’s going to be fun. I just hope he forgot all the plays. I think he might be too smart for that. It’ll be interesting to see him in a different jersey, compete against him. Back when he was in Denver, the last time we played against each other, we’ve all grown up a little bit. It’ll be fun just going back and battling. I’m sure we’ll have some back-and-forth out there on the court when he’s out there.”

Being a part of the team for such a long time has made Andre Iguodala so much better. He even earned defensive player of the season with the franchise. He is just too sharp get the plays that Steve Kerr had designed. The Miami Heat will be looking to kick start their winning momentum.
