UFC Boss Dana White hopes fight fans might get to see Colby ‘Chaos’ Covington vs BMF Jorge Masvidal, in 2021. The talks recently began, when Colby Covington called-out the ‘East Coast Gangster’, also accusing him of ducking. There were also rumors afloat that, Jorge Masvidal seemed uninterested in the fight.

However, in a recent interview with The Schmo, Dana White confirmed that Colby Covington vs Jorge Masvidal is on, and it will definitely happen within the next twelve months. He also refuted Colby Covington’s claims – ‘The Chaos’ had claimed that Jorge Masvidal wasn’t interested in the fight.

“We got nothing but big fights all this year” – Dana White

Dana White was quoted as saying, “I don’t think Masvidal said I don’t like that fight stylistically. We’re working on that fight. It’s the fight we want, too, and hopefully we’ll get that done this year, too. We got nothing but big fights all this year so hopefully we can get a couple of these key ones buttoned up and done and start looking forward to them.” [via MMA Junkie]

Jorge Masvidal is coming off a loss against Kamaru Usman – a fight which he took up in an extraordinarily short period. The number 4 ranked UFC welterweight, who currently holds the UFC BMF Title, has hardly been knocked out in his professional career and Colby Covington should be wary of that. Colby, meanwhile, is coming off a devastating victory over Tyron Woodley and the match before saw him put on a warrior’s performance with a broken jaw against Kamaru Usman. (Colby lost the fight)

Would you like to see the match happening? Who do you think will emerge victorious?
