“Steered by love” – Jasprit Bumrah ties the knot with Sanjana Ganesan; video of the couple posting on social media at the same time goes viral

India’s ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah has tied the knot with TV anchor and model Sanjana Ganesan today. Bumrah is not with the Indian team that is competing in the ongoing T20I series in Ahmedabad. He had earlier left the test series citing ‘personal reasons’ which were later revealed to be his marriage. The same was kept secret however by Bumrah who himself who did not confirm the same till today when he shared pictures and confirmed the news.

His bride Sanjana Ganesan is a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) franchise where she is their sports anchor. She is also a part of Star Sports. According to various reports, the couple had met during the Indian Premier League and become close friends that soon blossomed into something more.

Jasprit Bumrah took to social media today to announce the news of his wedding. He posted two pictures and wrote, ““Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.” Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you. Jasprit & Sanjana.”

Soon after the wedding, a video of both Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan posting the news of their marriage on social media at the very same time has gone viral. Fans have been talking of how the video is a perfect example of ‘couple goals’.

The wedding reportedly took place in Goa and was a close-knit affair with just about 20 people invited. Soon after the news of the marriage, congratulatory wishes have started pouring in for the newly wed couple.
