Miami Heat haven’t been in the same form as of last year. After a mild start their 3 game losing streak followed a much needed victory against the Sacramento Kings. The Miami heat ended this three game losing streak to the Kings today. They outscored the team 110-118 in a thriller. Once again it was Jimmy Butler with yet another record. But this time he was accompanied by big man, Bam Adebayo.

Miami Heat were almost in a slump. Their loss to Golden State Warriors was unfortunate. Analysts expected a tough match but Stephen Curry took over in the last minute destroying the entire Heat roster on the court. But today they did not disappoint. Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo both registered triple-doubles respectively. This the second time they have scored triple-double together ibn the same game. They have now become the only pair of teammates to achieve this feat. It was previously Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen who had done it once. But Jimmy and Bam outshined them.

Jimmy Butler finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists. While Bam Adebayo had 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. The Heat have previously made the whole NBA stun with their power packed performance in the end season games. However, it is only the mid-season. With a lot of games still to be played, heat is confident about carrying their positive attitude forward. This season Bam has improved on play making. He has been a great passer and also defended the rim well. Jimmy has never let down responsibilities that he has been laden with.

Bam Adebayo’s positive intent was appreciated in the post-game interview. He said, “Nah, we were just out there playing. We trying to get a win. A win matters more than the numbers do. I’m glad we did the triple double thing, but I’m really appreciative of the W.” Jimmy Butler’s remarks to this was, “It’s the same thing over and over for us. It’s like we get a lead, … we messing around, we get lazy. Good teams don’t do that. And I feel like we’re ways away from being a good team right now. We just got to keep taking steps in the right direction.” Miami Heat are under expectation to make their previous season winning run. And this is very much achievable for the team.
