German FA releases statement regarding Joachim Loew

Joachim Loew took the role for the German National Team in the year 2006 and lifted the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. He’s a highly respected coach and has done a lot for German football. Loew will be stepping down from his position after the end of the 2021 Euros in July.

However Joachim Loew has had his fair share of criticism as well after failing to advance from the group stages of the 2018 world cup in Russia. Germany lost 2 of its games to South Korea and Mexico to continue the curse of the defending champions.
There have been many rumours about who will succeed Joachim Loew. Current Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is also one of the many suitors for the role along with Bayern Munich sensation Hansi Flick.

I take this step consciously, full of pride and also very thankful and with uninterrupted motivation for the Euro,” Loew said in a statement.
