John Cena trolled the WWE Universe prior to Wrestlemania Night Two

16-time WWE World Champion, John Cena never likes to miss Wrestlemania. Every year he makes it a point to appear on WWE’s biggest night of the year, irrespective of the role he has to play. But, this year due to prior commitments, Cena couldn’t appear on the two-night extravaganza.

John Cena is currently filming the DC Comics series Peacemaker for HBO Max. But apart from appearing for Wrestlemania, Cena also likes trolling his fans. He did the exact same thing, prior to the Night Two of Wrestlemania 37.

Cena posted the Wrestlemania logo on his Instagram handle, leading to the speculation that he might be appearing. But sadly, there was no appearance. Becky Lynch too had teased an appearance on Night One of Wrestlemania.

John Cena last appeared at Wrestlemania 36

Cena’s last appearance on WWE TV was at Wrestlemania 36. He face “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt in a Firefly Funhouse match. it was one of the craziest gimmick matches ever seen on WWE TV, and was also a way to write Cena’s character off.

WWE finally concluded the Showcase of the Immortals, and it was definitely a treat to have the live crowd back. Several title changed hands and might lead to newer storylines in the upcoming fallout episodes.
