Another UFC Flyweight title is on line this weekend after the successful start of UFC 251 this week. The championship will be fought between Joseph Benavidez and Deiveson Figueiredo at Fight Island. Now the question that everyone raises; Who comes out on top? The duo have already fought once but the match had become controversial and UFC then decided to rematch it.

The two men had main-evented earlier at UFC 169 in Virginia and the UFC Flyweight title was on the line. The fight had been tremendous but without any result. Now UFC has rematched the match simply. But last week the fight was again being said to be in Jeopardy as Figueriedo had tested positive for the Coronavirus. However, the fight was still said to be on as it was said that the test was wrong.

As for the current scenario, it seems that the fight will go on. But the question still remains that will the COVID-19 have some effect on the Brazilian. The another question popping up is what adjustments will Benavidez do after his last controversial fight.

In the last match, Figuerido was able to absorb the biggest punches from Benavidez. Besides that Benavidez’s counter style has quite improved over some years. Still the both have their own strengths and weaknesses.

The bigger issue now is that what has been seen in the past, that Figueiredo’s punches losen in the third round. And Benavidez has a wide-open style, which raises the chances that ‘ Deus Da Gueraa’ will land a bomb. Which in turn raise the chances that he will become the new UFC Flywieght Champion.

Things can go massively wrong for Figueiredo if he gets in problem with the weight or has some lasting effects of Coronavirus on him.
