Leeds winger Raphinha has been in good form this season as he has scored 5 goals and assisted 5 times. The winger was signed from Rennes for a fee worth £17 million and other add-ons. So far he has outperformed what he was paid for and has attracted a lot of attention from major Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Liverpool. It will be an interesting summer for Raphinha and Leeds in a sense too.

A back-up for Mohamed Salah is needed and Raphinha can fill the gaps

Sadio Mane has an able replacement in Diogo Jota, who can replace Sadio Mane while also play perfectly in tandem with him. Mohamed Salah doesn’t have an adequate replacement like Diogo Jota as Harvey Elliott is a future star and is currently out on loan to Blackburn Rovers. Raphinha can perform the task of giving Mohamed Salah a rest in the cup matches while also getting experience playing for a bigger club.

Raphinha has scored 5 goals and 5 assists in 21 games and that is decent returns for a winger in the Premier League from Ligue 1. Players have flopped before, but Raphinha has gone on strongly for some time now. He will add valuable firepower to Liverpool and could also be signed for a price around £30 million as Leeds will attempt to recoup a profit on his signing.
