The UFC Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman is going to face ‘The Baddest Motherfuc**r’ Jorge Masvidal in a rematch at UFC 261. Just a couple of days before their fight they got engaged in a battle of words at the UFC 261 press conference.

Masvidal is happy this time, that unlike last time he didn’t have to cut so much weight in such a short period of time. He says, “Not having to cut 20 pounds in six days means a lot to me, all the energy I wasted on cutting weight is going to be spent putting the finish on him.”

Apart from this highlighting the first UFC event with a full crowd that too in his home is a thing to be proud of for Gamebred. He added, “You can hear it yourself, see it yourself – these guys want violence,”

“They don’t cheer for me because I’m so good-looking or the food that I eat, nothing, that’s not why they cheer for me. They cheer for me because I give everybody their hard-earned money.” {H/T MMA Fighting}

“I come in here to perform and bring the violence that they crave, and that’s the only reason why I got all these fans behind me.”

Although the champ Kamaru Usman didn’t seem to be too happy about Masvidal’s response and the crowd supporting him. Usman says, “The fans can’t fight for you, you said that last time. What happened?”

To which Jorge Masvidal replied, “I’m going to whoop your as* all by myself, I don’t need nobody, I didn’t get the broken nose, you did. I’m going to bust your face up, break more bones than last time. Remember this face.” {H/T MMA Fighting}

Kamaru Usman reminded Jorge Masvidal that this rematch is gifted to him

Jorge Masvidal last fought inside the Octagon against Kamaru Usman and he hasn’t fought since then. After this back and forth Usman reminded him that this match is gifted to him, he hasn’t earned it.

Usman says, “Let’s be honest, You got 14 losses in your career, seven in the UFC, you’re 3-3 in your last six, you are sitting there today because I chose you. I’m coming around the track and you’re the first guy that I’m about to lap. Period.” {H/T MMA Fighting}

Masvidal also seemed to be flaunting his BMF title behind the stage and when one of the reporters asked if the BMF title also on the line in this fight, he says, “You gotta be a BMF to compete for that one, and this dude ain’t it,”

Usman scoffs at his response and says, “What belt? There are three belts, three shiny belts here. This is what’s important. Not that piece of sh*t.”

He added, “I didn’t feel like I broke his will, On Saturday night, once I break his will, absolutely I’ll be satisfied. No, it’s not personal at all. If he’s making it personal, that’s on him. For me, it’s not personal. It’s all about business. He’s that next guy that I’ve picked.”

But Jorge Masvidal is confident that he’ll make it 1-1 this time and he will give Usman a rematch definitely after this one. He concluded, “Whether we see eye-to-eye on things or not, he gave me another chance to compete, so I’ll definitely give him the chance to compete again.” {H/T MMA Fighting}
