After assembling an elite team this season, Brooklyn Nets have become the #1 team in East. They have literally made a super team to aid their existing superstar buy some serious mid-season trade. Although they were without their superstar Kevin Durant for a long time, they have still managed to create the sense of super team feels already. He definitely feels that his teammate James Harden is playing at an MVP level this season. Kevin Durant has underlined the fact that his teammates have done the great job to keep the team intact and made it to the top tier in East.

The Nets are running on 26-16 record in the Eastern Conference. One of their support spine is James Harden. Although they recently have a lot of options to choose from. Kevin recently made his return with the Nets after missing 23 games following his injury. His comeback was hard and strong as his mother welcomed him coming off the bench in the 2nd quarter. A lot of fans were delighted to have him back in action. The big 3 for the Brooklyn are finally back. However, a minor injury for Harden has benched him for a short span.

Kevin Durant appreciates James Harden’s performance

Both Beard and KD were part of the Oklahoma City Thunder a long time back. This is kind of their reunion whatsoever. But James Harden has continued his dominance since 2017. The former MVP of regular season has put the defense on dance with his crazy handles.

During a recent interview KD said, “The criteria change every day. It’s become an award that 7-10 guys can win it in a year. Can you sell his story outside of his play? There’s a lot of stuff that factors into it. But he’s playing at that level. And that’s really all that matters (that) he stays at that elite level.”  He is happy that Harden is back to his elite level scoring and overall performance.

James Harden is currently averaging 25.2 points, 8 rebounds and 10.9 assists per game this season. He is definitely having his share of galore at the Nets. Even KD is a huge support to all his teammates. Following the fact that Durant always tries to inspire players along him, Harden and him already share a history. This might just ease the fact and get Nets forward. Brooklyn are the fan favorite to get to the title. Even a team of such caliber ought to grab the championship. Hopefully Harden gets an MVP trophy this season.
