West Indian all-rounder Kieron Pollard‘s father passed away on Tuesday and the unfortunate news was announced by the cricketer who took to Instagram to post an emotional message. Soon after, Pollard was flooded with messages of condolence and grief from fans, cricketers and well-wishers from around the globe. One among those was former Indian cricketing legend and Pollard’s former teammate at Mumbai Indians, Sachin Tendulkar.
Pollard had earlier today paid tribute to his father writing, “Rest easy , peacefully and gracefully .. #loveyoualways. Touched many hearts and souls. Will continue to make you proud. No more “tall boy” . I do know you are in a better place,” along with a picture of the two celebrating Mumbai Indians’ Indian Premier League (IPL) win in 2019.

Kieron Pollard will next be seen in action for the Mumbai Indians in IPL 2021 as the side would look to seal a historic ‘three-peat’. Judging by the side’s players’ form as well as the team combination and balance that they’ve got, the Mumbai franchise would be the overwhelming favorite to win the tournament this year as well.
