Recently, The Sports Authority of India (SAI) and National Sports Federations (NSF’s) came into a partnership to start an online workshop for coaches. The session was to begin today, the session started from Thursday due to the complete lockdown in India because of the coronavirus outbreak.
Dronacharya awardee, Sanjeev Singh also attended the first session with Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Kiren Rijiju and Archery Association of India President, Arjun Munda.
Rijiju’s office tweeted, “The 21-day online workshop for coaches has been launched today. In the first session, archery, being conducted by Dhronacharya Awardee Sanjeeva Singh, @KirenRijiju, @MundaArjun were present. This is the first-ever online initiative by SAI and NSFs to upgrade knowledge of coaches.”
Interestingly, more than 16 sporting disciplineries are attending this course all over the country.
Highly performance directors will be monitoring the session and the session will be attended by the renowned coaches. The session will take place every day.
