Kohli Calls For ‘Spirit Of India’ Urges Citizen To Show Unity With Health Warriors Tonight

Captain of Indian Cricket Team Virat Kohli on Sunday request to all the citizens to show their ‘spirit of India’ to express solidarity with health warriors tonight in the battle against Coronavirus Pandemic. To light diyas and candles at 9 Pm for 9 minutes on the call given by Prime Minister.

Earlier, Prime Minister had requested to the peoples to turn off the lights of their house on April 5 at 9 Pm for 9 minutes and to light diyas, candles and lamps to support all the health workers who are working 24/7 for us, and to show solidarity with each other in the battle against Coronavirus Pandemic.

Virat Kohli tweeted on his twitter account that “ The power of the stadium is in its fans. The spirit of India is in its people. Tonight 9pm for 9min Let’s show the world, we stand as ONE. Let’s show our Health Warriors, We stand behind them. Team India – IGNITED. @narendramodi @PMOIndia,”

This is in follow up to the ‘Taali, thali’ event held on March 22, the day when ‘Janata curfew’ was observed throughout the country. Modi had reminded people to be on their terrace and balconies and clap to express their gratitude towards Health Warriors.

In India, 3,000 plus cases had been registered of Coronavirus, near 75 died and 213 had been cured, according to worldometer.
