Kolo Toure, former Manchester City defender says playing alongside David Silva was a pleasure.
David Silva after 10-year spell at Manchester, would finally prepare himself to say goodbye to the club Manchester City and the fans.
A decade since joining Valencia, the 34-year-old playmaker is leaving Manchester at the end of the season by the end of this month.
It would be dramatic to see if Silva wins the Champions League with Manchester City this season. City will play the second-leg of round of 16 to qualify for the quarter-finals. Pep Guardiola’s side hold a 2-1 advantage as they host Real Madrid for the second leg.
Kolo Toure on playing alongside David Silva told Stats Perform News:
“We called him El Maestro. He’s a fantastic player, technically unbelievable. I loved to play with him, especially with Yaya.
“All you had to do was pass them the ball. Yaya would come next to you, to get the ball, then Yaya would see David ahead and send the ball up quickly and the attack was on.
“David doesn’t go to fight, he looks for gaps, for space to play between lines to help players. He doesn’t look for fights, he doesn’t need that. He just looks to help players. It was an honour to play with him.” – he explained.
