Krafton has announced iQOO as the title sponsor for BGMI India Series 2021. The series was earlier scheduled to begin in the month of August, however, got delayed due to unknown reasons.

In a recent development for Battlegrounds Mobile India lovers, Krafton has named the smartphone brand iQOO as the title sponsor for BGMI India Series 2021. It is also expected that the much anticipated tournament might commence in the month of November.

BGMI India Series 2021 has garnered a lot of attention from the gaming community across India. After the ban of PUBG Mobile, it is going to be the first major tournament of Battlegrounds Mobile India. Set with a whopping prize pool of 1 Crore, it is going to be an open for all tournament which means amateur players can compete head to head with professional players.

This major tournament was announced by Krafton in the month of July, however, no further updates regarding the start date of the tournament were announced by the developers. Fans have been keenly awaiting for the tournament to begin and this announcement increased the excitement of the fans.

The officials took to their social media handles to announce that the smartphone brand iQOO is going to be the title sponsor for BGMI India Series 2021. iQOO is a Chinese smartphone brand that announced their entry towards eSports by revealing the iQOO All Stars Cup, a five day long tournament of Battlegrounds Mobile India with a whopping prize pool of 5 lakhs INR. The tournament was won by OR Esports.

The smartphone brand is making several efforts to enter into competition with other organizations. The tournament announced by them saw professional teams of BGMI battling to claim the winner’s prize. The tournament was live streamed in the official youtube channel of iQOO Esports and garnered lot of views and appreciation from the fans.

Post this announcement, BGMI lovers are delighted as they can finally hope that the BGMI Series is around the corner. The tournament was earlier scheduled to begin in the month of August, however, it was getting delayed by the officials. The issue of hackers has been highlighted by well known faces of BGMI such as Mortal, Scout and Jonathan time and again. As BGMI India Series 2021 is an open for all tournament, it is impossible to conduct the series if the hackers aren’t eliminated.

As per the sources of Lets Grow Esports, BGMI India Series 2021 might be a LAN event. Players might compete in the tournament offline, however, no official confirmation has been made yet. Previously, Neyoo (Suraj Nityanand Majumdar) belonging to the BGMI roster of GodLike Esports had revealed that the series could be begin in the month of November.
