The Dallas Mavericks have started to become the fans’ favorite. Youngster Luka Doncic is making some highlight real plays. After his game winner against the Boston Celtics, he is justifying being a starter in the All-Star. However, Dallas Mavericks have been underperforming according to analysts. With Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis everybody overestimated the team game. With a dormant start, the team is inching to make their spot in top 8. They are currently 9th in the West and running on a 15-15 record. But some trade rumors have added a hot topic of discussion on the team roster.

Luka Doncic and co. worked till their last sweat to get past Boston Celtics. Once again magic handles and late buzzer beater for the young Serbian edged them past. Doncic ended with 31 points and 10 rebounds at the end of regulation. However, the Unicorn, Kristaps Porzingis is out of the regular roster. The disappointing for of the big man has pulled the team back. The 7’3” forward is unable to gather the momentum and definitely having a slack down. The knee injury turned his complete season around. But now, Mavs are active in market to a possible trade for the Unicorn to Washington Wizards to play alongside Beal and Westbrook.

Wizards Wizards interested to trade Kristaps Porzingis

According to NBA central reports, Washington Wizards have shown their part of interest for the Latvian big man.  After trading John Wall away, Bradly Beal has taken control over the franchise scoring responsibility. Adding him up with Russell Westbrook is just fine. A decent duo but unable to make impact. Although they surpassed Los Angeles Lakers, but would definitely fall apart with a big man team. Porzingis might be the perfect solution to their problem. However, his underwhelming start needs a lot of after game hours. But getting him to team up with Beal would be interesting to see.

Kristaps Porzingis averaged 20.5 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game off the bench for Mavs. Dallas may need this trade in case they are eyeing Wagner from Wizards. But Washington Wizards desperately need a player of Porzingis’ calibre. If they trade in for the 25-YO, a small window for Wizards may widen up.
