The Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers have been one of the tough rivals ever since last year. Both the teams played in the finals last season and LA Lakers got the better of their counter-parts adding to their 17th title in the tally. However, in this recent season, the Miami Heat have completed their recent double in the regular season games. The recent controversial post that Miami Heat aired on Twitter has attracted all the attention. The team clearly mocked the defending champions as their greatest stars were missing from the starting roster. LeBron James and Anthony Davis have been side lined with critical injuries. A lot of fans have come up in support if the LA Lakers.
The Heat defeated Lakers 104-110 recently and added this post to their twitter page. The game was pretty much a neck to neck battle. The Lakers came up the deficit and led by 1-point as the buzzer came in for half time. However, they soon lost the lead in the 3rd quarter. After a fighting spirit in the 4th quarter they came up 25-points and lost by 6 in the end. Given that Heat were beaten in the 6 game series last year, Miami Heat clearly displayed a mockery of event with caption “IF WE WOULDA BEEN HEALTHY!…”. This was clear indication to the injured players of the franchise.
LA Lakers fans take on media and troll the post
A series of events lined up as soon as the post went viral. A lot of Lakers’ fans were out rages by the post. Fans clearly pointed out that this was an argument based on the injury woes of their team. The fans started trolling the post with numerous captions and images trolling the Miami Heat page. They indicated the win last season and how LeBron James got the team the titles in consecutive years.
The Lakers have been largely hit with the injury trouble. LeBron is out with a recent high ankle injury while Anthony Davis is suffering from achillies injury. After a long predicted return timeline, it is rumoured that they will return by the end of this month. Hopefully Lakers bounce back to their previous season form and rise of criticism.
