Manchester United and England player Jadon Sancho has been left out of the World Cup squad and fans are still confused about Southgate’s decision. There is news coming that Sancho’s relationship with the manager hasn’t been quite good for the last couple of months which cost him his place in the squad to Qatar.

Sancho hasn’t been in the best of form lately and has also been removed from the first team by Erik Ten Hag at Manchester United. After his big-money move from Borussia Dortmund, the winger hasn’t lived up to the expectations of the club and his form has also dipped since then.

He was in England’s squad in the Euros last year having played a total of about 97 minutes only. Although reports from The Telegraph suggest that he has been excluded from the Qatar World Cup squad because of his overall performances at the club level but fingers are also being pointed towards an incident at an international friendly game.

Some news is coming on lately about a situation that occurred before the international friendly game against Andorra where Sancho was late for a team meeting. This angered Gareth Southgate as the manager has a strict rule that the meetings can only begin when all the players are present.

As Sancho was late, the rest of the squad had to wait for him to turn up and this was a serious issue that caused his relationship with the manager to degrade. And some fans are feeling that this might be the reason why Southgate omitted Sancho from the World Cup squad but the manager has already told in the press conference that he has selected players according to their last two years’ performance.
