Indian Tennis legends Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi are taking up the ‘frying pan challenge’ for entertaining their fans again during this quarantine.
Paes shared a video on twitter, where he was seen playing with Mahesh in an edited video of them hitting a tennis ball to the wall with the frying pan, also in the background the iconic song ‘Yeh Dosti Hum Na Chhodenge’ from the movie ‘Sholay’ can be heard.

Adding to the video, Paes wrote, “For all those who wanted to see us playing together.”
To this, Bhupathi replied, “Bravo.. finally getting Tech Savvy in your old age @Leander,”
Paes recently asked his fan following to try the ‘frying pan challenge’ and have fun during this quarantine, he Tweeted, “Here’s a challenge for you guys while we’re in lockdown! How many can you do? I’m challenging all of you out there. Send in your entries with the #FryingPanChallenge, tag me, and I’ll share the best few!”

Bhupathi, who had partnered Paes in men’s doubles for many years in the past, was in awe of the 46-year-old. Quoting the video put on the ATP Twitter handle, Bhupathi wrote, “Man can volley with anything.”
Bhupati also posted a video on Twitter and said, “@Leander here you go, I tried your no look, talking to the camera version but I don’t have that kind of skill so I went down in size to a mini frying pan to make it challenging.”
Paes replied to Bhupathi, “You’ve always had mad skills and I remember that volley winning us a few Grand Slams.”
Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes partnership won the doubles championships at the 2006 Asian Games. This Indian Express has a 303-103 career record together and holds the Davis Cup record for 24 consecutive wins.
