The defending champions are in a delusion world altogether. The way they started the season and the position they are right now is completely different. They just can’t catch the breath to glide into their winning momentum. Even their super stars are injured are off the hook as of now. However, they have failed today against their former finals’ rivals. Although the team acquired Andre Drummond out of the buyout market, but his basic essence is not fulfilling. Charles Barkley predicts Andre Drummond’s role once LeBron James and Anthony Davis return to the pack.

The Lakers lost a tough game tonight. After falling to a trail till the end of 2^nd quarter, they edged by a point at the half buzzer. However, they lost it as soon as the 2^nd half began. Lakers could not capitalize a close in during the 4^th quarter and lost by 6-points. Jimmy Butler ended with 28-points. On one occasion when Markeiff Morris switched with Andre Drummond, Butler hit a mid-range jumper. As soon as he jigged back, he turned and said, “Don’t do that”. He clearly said it to Drummond who the hyped player when Lakers acquired him.

Will Andre Drummond fit into LA Lakers’ squad when LeBron James and Anthony return?

The Lakers have descended from the top in West to 5^th position as of now. LeBron and AD are out with injuries which is pulling their performance down. But Lakers’ did a great job to fit in Drummond for a rebounder and rim protector. “Can you imagine when he’s out there with LeBron and AD?”, asked Barkley. “AD and LeBron are such unique players, he can play the centre… like he can play Jokic, he can play against Gobert, and against Ayton. Those are the four best teams in the West.” Although Drummond’s presence has been a great help. H added his first double-double score with 12 rebounds and 15 points for the franchise.

Given that the timeline for the Laker’s full stack is predicted, Andre’s role will be very crucial. Lakers will be back at their potential greatness Drummond’s position in the roster will be likely debatable. It will be a huge decision to see if Frank Vogel chooses to turn to Andre Drummond or benches him.
