Lindelof tackles thief stealing elderly woman’s bag

The Sweden international player, Victor Lindelof went back to his hometown after the season ended. He was recently spotted helping out an approximately 90-year old lady to get her purse back from a thief. Victor Lindelof stays with his wife and son and has been enjoying after a hectic season. He received praise from all around the world after his act on Monday.

A man in his 30s had stolen a bag from a woman in her 90s on the street and cycled right past her after the shameful act. The Manchester United centre back is being told to have chased him down for a bit and eventually get hold of the thief. According to the reports, he kept hold on to the suspect until the time the police arrived at the location.

Police praised the young United footballer

The police were full of applaud for Lindelof and stated that “The police want to take the opportunity and thank the witness for a quick and wise intervention to restore the plaintiff’s property.” Meanwhile, Lindelof’s partner in the back four of United, Harry Maguire has been accused of assaulting few policemen.

He and two others are suspected to have assaulted four police officers and also tried to bribe them. The hearing for the case will take place in the Greek court the next day. The England international will surely be under scrutiny while Gareth Southgate, the English national team manager picks his team for the upcoming friendlies.
