Liverpool cleared path to signing of Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus as Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund pull off
Marco Rose’s appointment as Borussia Dortmund manager means that Florian Neuhaus will not become a Dortmund player and therefore Liverpool have an advantage now

Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus is a hot prospect going into this summer due to his performances. 4 goals and 4 assists in the Bundesliga shows that he is a midfielder who can score goals and also gets into positions to score goals and also create them. Liverpool need a midfielder of that capability as none of their midfielders are able to score or create chances consistently.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund significantly lose interest in Florian Neuhaus

Bayern Munich have already signed RB Leipzig centre-back Dayot Upamecano for a fee of €42 million for next season. That would mean that they would have to cool their interest in order to save their money as COVID-19 has given a hit to most clubs. Borussia Dortmund announced that Borussia Monchengladbach manager Marco Rose will be the one to manage them next season. He has already said that he will not take any player from his current club to Borussia Dortmund.

This has cleared a straight path for Liverpool as two of their biggest competitors have pulled out of the competition. It will be interesting to see if Liverpool move for him after Jurgen Klopp’s comments that ‘fine readjustments’ will be made to Liverpool in the summer.
