Los Angeles Clippers continue their unbeaten run against the San Antonio Spurs

Short-handed LA Clippers beat San Antonio to register 4th straight win

After a great start, the Los Angeles Clippers faced a stubborn blow out. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard were ruled out with injuries respectively. The team had hit their season low during the same. However, their recent form has completely changed the picture. On the other hand, San Antonio Spurs haven’t had their best form this season. They are barely making it up for the top 8 spot in the 2021 year. Despite a low scoring intense match, LA Clippers have come out victorious in the match up.

The Los Angeles Clippers have disappointed this season. They have been inconsistent despite getting incredible wins. Kawhi Leonard missed another game this season with a sore right foot. To add to the misery report, Marcus Morris was also out for the game due to bruised right calf. The game was the best show of tough defence. Both the restricted much of the opponents’ offence through some good pressure defence. The game ended at 85-98 with some great plays by the teams. Spurs dropped out to Clippers despite them being shorthanded.

Will the new players make any impact for Los Angeles Clippers?

Paul George was a standout in today’s game. PG ended with 24 points and 13 rebounds by end. This was one of his major double-double performance in continuance to his elite form this season. Reggie Jackson was the highlight for LA. He ended his night with 28-points and some great shooting. Other than PG, Terance Mann and Ivica Zubac also registered double-doubles by the end of regulation. Rojon Rondo is yet to join the starting squad for the franchise. This trade is supposed to be the best mid-season trades far. Will his addition get LA climb higher in WC?

The Spurs are in deep trouble. After their decision to buyout LaMarcus Aldridge, they have acquired Marquese Chriss and right to Cady Lalane. Coming to their performance tonight, they gave it away in the 4th quarter. DeMar DeRozan’s 23-point game could not help them edge over Clippers. The Spurs are #8 seeded in the WC right now. The way the game slipped off their hands foretells their lack of consistency and exhaustion. This was their 4th straight loss.
