Mackenzie Dern former World Jiu-Jitsu Champion and a professional mix-martial artist who just improved her professional record to 9-1 on her last fight at UFC Fight Night “Covington vs Woodley” revealed some shocking news after the fight that she and her husband Wesley Santos got into a huge fight with her coach.

According to Dern her husband and her coach Juan Gomez got into a fight after she decided to switch the gym and train under Jason Parillo. She also added that her training camp has been anything but smooth and comfortable.

Dern also said that things didn’t stopped right there her former coach also send her threatening texts and also some inappropriate texts from him throughout the week.

 According to Dern Gomez assaulted Jason but hopefully, no one got hurt and now she is glad that she switched camps for good and they got nothing to do with Gomez anymore.

Dern said that choosing to train under Jason Parillo was the best thing that happened with her and she wishes that she should have made that move sooner.

The Accusations by Mackenzie Dern

According to her, Jason Parillo is on another level when it comes to training.

She said her former coach was a fraud and a liar who claimed to have fought over 40 to 50 fights in his career but he has no record of any of that and Dern said she couldn’t find any proof of his fights on Google or anywhere else.

To quote her she said, “He spent the entire week sending me texts, threatening me and my husband.” Dern continued. “He called me a bitch, a traitor. He made fake accounts. At the same time, he was giving interviews saying he likes me, saying we know the reason behind the fight.”

“We have no idea. We only want to stay away from Juan Gomez.”

“He can call me a liar, but I have all the proof. If he keeps threatening me and my family, we’ll show it to the world. I hope he stops it because I have no problem showing what happened“.

 I didn’t want to sue because it can get really bad for him, but if he keeps threatening us, and saying stuff about the next time we’re in Hawaii, about how he has connections there.”

Dern said she is now a mother and she has a 15-month-old baby girl and she and her husband are doing good in their lives and she doesn’t want any trouble for anyone.

Especially when she is finally doing good for herself and her family and that’s why she is willing to leave all these things in the past if Gomez would just stop harassing her.
