Manav Thakkar becomes world no 1 in U-21 category

The 20 year old Manav Thakkar is scaling new heights in his career. He won U-21 title and has a quarterfinal finish in senior category at ITTF challenger plus. Now he he has climbed to the top of U-21 ranking list.

In December he joined Harmeet Desai, Sathiyan Gnanasekaran and Soumyajit Ghosh , who has won U-21 title in their career. He was also ranked one in U-18 category in 2018.

He was ranked 10 in December last year but the U21 title saw him rise at the top with 6780 points.
