Manchester City has revealed their 2020-2021 kit. The kit features a “Mosaic” like design. The new Man-city football shirt features “Puma” as their Kit sponsor. The Cityzens are tied to the German manufacturers for 10 years as a part of their £650m deal.
The kit gets it inspiration from the ‘the famous mosaics in the creative hub of Manchester’s Northern Quarter’. The jersey has mosaic like pattern with city’s traditional colors of blue and white. The kit has white shorts and light blue socks.
Pictures of Manchester City’s stars like Raheem Sterling , Kevin Debryune , Sergio Aguero and Phil Foden went viral in seconds . The fans seem to be overjoyed with the new home kit as they mentioned it on the club’s official twitter account.
The kit comes in two variations. The fan version (stadium version) is for £60 and the player version costs around £100 or £105. The club’s players are set to debut in their new kits against Arsenal on Saturday, July 18. The Cityzens are playing the Gunners in a FA-Cup Semifinal.
Mark Kennedy, the man behind the design said “I began creating Manchester icons using ceramic plates and tiles, integrating my own artistic style. My family and I have always been huge City fans, so I created artwork of the players too”
