Marcos Alonso speaks about earlier experiences

When the season started Marcos Alonso was definitely a player in Frank Lampard’s thoughts. However that changed when Lampard decided to purchase English international Ben Chilwell from Leicester City.

Following a rift between him and Lampard after the game against West Bromwich Albion, Marcos Alonso hardly found any playing time under Frank. He was missing in action from September 16th to January 31st.

But things now seem better under Thomas Tuchel who has given Marcos Alonso a chance to prove himself all over again. Moreover Thomas Tuchel’s wingback strategy gives Alonso further leverage.
