Recently, Sharapova has invested in brand TheraBody. A prominent company in the physiotherapy team of many sports, TheraBody was previously known as TheraGun. It is known for its niche and massage products.
Maria Sharapova on why she invested in TheraBody
One of the most financially successful athletes in the world, Maria gave her views on why she felt like investing in this popular firm. “What got me excited is the kind of technology they are using and their phenomenal recovery rate of patients. Their vision is what attracted me the most and I thought of becoming a part of such an amazing company. Looking forward to help in the growth of the enterprise,” said the 33-year-old Russian, who was all praise for TheraBody.
Sharapova no stranger to Entrepreneurship
Maria Sharapova is an experienced campaigner when it comes to business. She has endorsed some world-famous brands in the past — Tiffany & Co., Porsche, Gatorade, etc. to name a few. Her own candy brand ‘Sugarpova‘ earns a whopping 20 million dollars annually. She has also been part of investment projects in UFC.
No wonder she has transferred her success from tennis to business and can have a similar kind of career in entrepreneurship, if not better.
