Mason Mount speaks on N’golo Kante

Mason Mount in action

For the visitor’s Chelsea Mason Mount was by far the most creative player trying to find little pockets of space with some brilliant moments of magic. It was Mount who won the penalty after wriggling into the box and then stepped up to score himself.
However Mason Mount was quick to point out that N’golo Kante put in a greater shift than him. The French international returned to the Chelsea side after being benched in the previous matches by Kovacic and Jorginho.

N’golo Kante was all around the pitch winning possession back and doing what he does best. Throughout the game N’golo won back possession 13 times and made four successful tackles. Mason Mount was extremely pleased with his performance and is happy that Kante is back in the side.

It’s absolutely brilliant to have him back in [the team]. [He’s] Unbelievable to play with and a big character around the group.
“He doesn’t say much but what he does physically and how he goes about himself, he’s a massive character.”
