“Mast plan hai” – Australian anchor suggests profession for Virat Kohli’s first child

Indian skipper Virat Kohli has left for India from Australia to be with his wife Anushka Sharma for the birth of their first child. The batting ace who was with the Indian side for the white-ball leg of India’s tour of Australia and also for the first Test match reportedly left after a pep talk with his Indian teammates for the final three Tests. India are currently trailing the series 1-0 after a humiliating defeat in the first Test that saw India being shot out for 36 runs in the second innings – their lowest ever score in Test cricket history.
Virat Kohli was the lone bright spark in the Test with his half-century in the first innings and without their skipper, India are bound to have their tasks cut out to make a comeback in the all-important series. In his absence, it will be Ajinkya Rahane who will lead the Indian side for the remainder of the tour.
Australian anchor Chloe-Amanda Bailey wins internet with meme
Australian anchor Chloe-Amanda Bailey is known to be active on her Twitter handle and on November 10, 2020 when the news of Virat Kohli leaving for India on paternity leave was announced, she took to Twitter to invite Kohli and his wife to have their baby in Australia instead so that their child could go on to become Australia’s greatest future batsman. The tweet read, “Dear @imVkohli & @AnushkaSharma, can you please have your baby in Australia so he can potentially be Australia’s greatest future batsman ever. Cheers.”
After the Tweet went viral, she once again took to Twitter on Wednesday to refer to the same Tweet and post a meme from the Bollywood movie Phir Hera Pheri. She shared a template reading, “Mast plan hai” by replying to her original Tweet. The Australian anchor using a Bollywood meme template and her suggestions have caught the attention of Twitterati.
