Max Verstappen praised Red Bull for handling a difficult situation in 2024 as McLaren defeated Milton Keynes for the Constructors' title.

Max Verstappen seemed to be at risk of losing the Drivers’ title in 2024. The Dutch driver found himself in a close battle against Lando Norris amidst Red Bull’s struggles. Verstappen has now applauded his team for managing to the campaign on-track this year.
The four-time world champion pointed out the difficult part of the season when Red Bull did not have the fastest car. Max Verstappen claimed that the team managed to stay together and not panic even in such a high pressure situation. Even when Lando Norris continued to take points away from the Dutchman for the championship.
Even when we were struggling and under pressure, we stayed together as a team without panicking, which could have easily happened.

Subsequently, Verstappen was full of pride over his team’s incredible efforts. Red Bull was forced to go back to the drawing board to understand its car problems. It turned out that the team’s first mistake was made way back in 2023. Nevertheless, the Dutch driver managed to claim his fourth title this season.

Verstappen and Red Bull faced a real challenge from the likes of McLaren and Ferrari for the first time in three years. Milton Keynes even failed to defend the Constructors’ title and finished third in the standings. Max Verstappen confessed that the competition’s resurgence made things a lot harder for the reigning world champions.
