Milan exercise option to buy Kjaer on a permanent deal from Sevilla

AC Milan have exercised their option to buy Simon Kjaer from Sevilla. The defender was on loan at the Italian side from Sevilla. Milan have taken the option, after Kjaer impressed during his time at the club.

Kjaer has cost them 3.5 million euros and has signed a 2-year deal with AC Milan. The defender spent first half of the season on loan at Atalanta before coming to Milan. Mattia Caldara moved the other way in January. He has made 13 appearances in all competition for Milan.

AC Milan will also receive 24 million euros from Sevilla as they will trigger the option to buy for Suso. The attacker moved to Spain in January on an 18-month loan deal.
