The Flint is a mineral item that can be obtained commonly and is used in crafting a variety of items in the game.

How to find Flint in Minecraft?

The Flint is a commonly occurring item, but unlike over mineral blocks, it does not have a separate block for it. But players can still find them from mining.

Here are some ways of finding it:

• Mining: Players need to find Gravel blocks and mine them for a chance to obtain a piece of Flint. When mined, Gravels have a 10% chance to drop Flint blocks. The Fortune enchantment at Level III will make this a 100%.
• Trading: Fletcher Villagers sell 10 pieces of flint for 10 blocks of gravel and and Emerald.
• Chests: Players can also find them in naturally generated Chests over the world.

Uses for Flints

The main use of Flint is too make Arrows in the game. An arrow is the ammunition for the ranged weapons in the game like Crossbows and Bows. This is very essential for many of the battles that players go through.

Another very important item that the players can craft is the Flint and Steel. This is used to light blocks on Fire and can also activate Nether Portals. It can also be used to instantly detonate Creepers!

Fletching Tables can also be crafted using a Flint, but other than transforming the occupation of a Villager to a Fletcher, this item has no other uses.
